Did you watch Grey’s Anatomy last night? I have been watching that show for how many years now and I have to say last night’s episode was one of the best in a long time. Here’s why (in my opinion):
a.) Bailey & Avery’s high drama over their patient. She is always right but seems defeated.
b.) Dr. Teddy Altman’s resolve and confidence about doing surgery on the secret patient. And standing up to Derek. How pretty is she?
c.) Cristina’s shopping trip. Nice escape from all the hospital scenes. Did you see the super cool metal chair with the blue cushion in her place ~ someone please tell me she picked that up at IKEA after her trip to the mall and that it is affordable and I can buy one just like it! And so glad nobody broke it during the fight!
d.) Karev & Meredith’s conversation about his family & sister. How sad. Meredith is one of the few people who understands him. You can't help but to feel bad for both of them.
e.) And of course, Cristina and Derek sitting on the roof. He knows nobody can fix her but herself. After talking about the hardwood floors, they both got up to leave and he asked if there was anything else she wanted to talk about (i.e. her job situation) and she paused and said “what are you doing for bathroom tile”. And they sat back down and continued talking. How great was he?
