We have been glued to the Olympics..the tv is front and center even during dinner. (!) This t has been staying up way too late for a glimpse of another event in swimming and an apparatus in gymnastics. Pass the coffee please.
My favorite Olympic story belongs to swimmer Missy Franklin. Before she won gold last night, I learned this -- > Missy gave up valuable endorsements so she could still swim for her high school (!) and she passed on moving to other states to train so she could remain with her family, friends, teammates, and coach. (!) She remarked how she wouldn't be as amazing if she wasn't surrounded by the people she loves. Wow.
